Home-Based Online English Teacher Part-time

Job Summary:

Teaching the English language to Chinese students online and evaluating their performance based on set guidelines.

• Prepare and study the teaching materials before the lesson starts
• Conduct one-on-one video lessons with students within the prescribed time
• Teach the correct usage of the English language through constant practice
• Provide corrective feedback and ensure that the students understand each lesson
• Create a lesson memo with the necessary feedback about the topics discussed

Job Requirements: 

• Excellent command of the English language
• Driven, highly-motivated and can work with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong work ethics
• Available to teach minimum of 5 days a week from 7pm - 11pm
• Computer proficiency is expected
• Career shifters, working students, and fresh college graduates are welcome to apply
• Open to all qualified candidates from Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao

Workstation Requirements:

• Must have home office environment conducive to learning with wired DSL connection (speed of at least 3Mbps); 
• Laptop/Desktop with Windows 7 or 8: 2GB RAM, Intel Core 2 Duo or AMD equivalent; 
• Webcam (HD)
• Headset (with Noise Cancelling feature);
• UPS, back-up power and ISP will be ideal for areas prone to power and internet outage.

Work Schedule:

• Part time: 7PM to 11PM, 5 days a week.
• Full time:  2PM to 11PM, 5 days a week.
