Position Summary:
-Fluent speakers of Japanese required for Transcription.
Key Responsibilities:
-Appen Butler Hill is looking for fluent speakers of Japanese for a transcription project. The work will involve listening to audio recordings of Japanese speech and typing what is said, or fixing the given original Japanese text to match the audio. Work is on a flexible basis (minimum availability 10 hours per week).

Project Information:
-This project begins in August 2013. Please register now at http://appenonline.appen.com.au/ and take the Japanese spelling test.

Note: Please make sure that you add Japanese to your Languages under the Account tab. Once you have added it, you will be able to see the Japanese spelling test under the Qualifications Tab.

Qualifications:
-Must be a fluent speaker of Japanese
-Must have the ability to read and write Japanese
-Must have good spelling skills
-Must have basic computer knowledge and typing skills
-Can understand written English instructions
-Must have access to a computer and internet connection with the latest version of Firefox, Java and Flash Player
