The person will be under the general supervision of the AVP Purchasing.
He/She is responsible for the evaluation of canvass data, preparation of necessary documents, and coordination with suppliers/vendors/subcontractors regarding the procurement of required goods and services.
Qualifications:
• Must be a graduate of any business related course, preferably with 2 years of purchasing experience in the industrial plants or power industry
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Must be analytical and strategic
• Willing to travel
• Can work to tight schedules
• Promote good inter departmental relations & contribute
• Manage supply relationships with key suppliers
• Possesses above average communication skills
