Qualification:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Under the supervision of the Store Supervisor, responsible for performing over-the-counter selling through knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, and efficient customer service in order to meet set profit plans; monitors and checks delivery of stocks from the stockroom; assists in the inventory of merchandise.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
• Executes efficient and effective customer service by ensuring correct price tags,
properly implementing price revisions, being prepared to answer questions and
handle customer complaints, and maintaining the cleanliness of the whole
merchandise display area.
• Performs selling functions to attain given sales quota by:
• Attending to and assisting customers in the selection and choice of merchandise,
i.e. style, color and size.
• Directing customers to the nearest counter for payment of merchandise.
• Ensuring that shelves/showcases are fully stocked at all times.
• Replenishing and arranging stocks on display.
• Accountable for the security of items and other equipment in the selling area;
safeguards merchandise from shoplifters, breakage, and/or damages.
• Assists in periodic inventory taking of the branch/ store.
• Assists in the accurate and timely preparation of stock requests from Warehouse.
• Monitors and checks delivery receipts from the Warehouse.
• Recommends/ prepares merchandise for pull-out.
• Maintains the upkeep of the branch/store through proper storage, cleanliness and
orderliness of work area to ensure systematic flow of work and prevent accidents.
• Implements the Company's behavioral programs on customer service such as
Smile & Greet, etc.
• Supports Management decisions, requirements and expectations.
• Performs other related matters as may be assigned from time to time.
• Candidate must possess at least a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate, any field.
• Required skill(s): good organizational analytical skills and can work under pressure, has ability to work quickly, flexibility, effectively and positively, Must be a team player, mature.
