Job Description	LC Advance Tutors facilitate various student academic skill development. This position requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Tutors coordinate learning and provide one on one tutoring or in a group setting. Tutors will work with students to assess their situation, set short-term goals for the session, long-term goals for academic development, and assist them in reaching those goals. Tutors will guide students struggling either academically or personally and should have a genuine concern for the needs of students.  Tutors will also monitor student participation and behavior and complete other tasks as assigned by the tutorial staff.
Job Qualifications	• graduate of any 4 to 5 year course or; at least 3rd year undergraduate students with majors on Math/Physics/Chemistry/Education/Engineering • With or without teaching experience • Available during 3:00PM to 5:30PM and/or 5:30PM to 7:00PM daily for S.Y. 2012-2013 • Capable of handling students • Service-oriented and student-centered
