Is currently looking for:

Shift Coordinator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on supervision of process operation activity, maintain management objective production quality and capacity, maintain equipment properly operate by operators and continuously run, proper turn over and communication of important information of receiving shift and to direct superior, imposed brief meeting in shifts to attain operation improvement and efficiency;
  • Responsible for the quality of CNO and CEC attained before the storage. Make sure all deviations are corrected immediately to avoid rejection of products with proper coordination from internal customers and suppliers;
  • Prepare shift schedules for operations personnel, train/coaching of personnel to excel good performance and conduct analysis for improvement of process results, conduct shift sounding, maintain records and regular reporting at DPR and management required reports;
  • Implement safety practices and good housekeeping in work place, make sure company discipline observed at all times, make reports for any incident/accident happen within the shift; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering graduate, with relevant license.
  • Male, 25 - 35 years old.
  • Three (3) years or more work experience in an oil mill, refinery, shortening and/or solvent plant, or any similar industry.
  • Knowledgeable in mechanical/electrical administration, handling projects, understands and read plans (structural/mechanical/electrical);
  • Advance knowledge in trouble shooting of mechanical/electrical equipment and machineries, generator set, with ability to detect and repair damages and malfunctions;
  • Responsible to handle all of maintenance/electrical services personnel and coordinate with external technical personnel and service providers to ensure the upkeep of the plant and its facilities.
  • Gets along well with all levels of personality in the organization.
  • Good communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Willing to work extended hours.
  • Computer literate (MS Office applications).

Quality Control Coordinator


Responsibilities:
  • Plans, controls and supervises all laboratory activities in the Quality Control Section;
  • Ensures conformance of raw materials and products to quality specifications;
  • Reviews and verifies analysis report of special process samples to evaluate efficiency of process equipment;
  • Ensures proper calibration check of all laboratory measuring devices;
  • Conducts statistical evaluation of oil mill and buying laboratory results for process control;
  • Initiates proper blending of coconut oil in storage tanks to meet load out quality requirements and coordinate with Terminal Supervisor to effect action plan with prior knowledge and approval of Management;
  • Conducts special studies related to improve plant efficiency and product quality;
  • Prepares Copra and CEC clean out report to determine bodega gain or loss;
  • Monitors all potential pollution sources like oil water separators, dust separators and smoke stack for any abnormality and coordinates action with Operations personnel through the Plant Superintendent to prevent substandard emissions;
  • Serves as Team Leader of the Internal Quality Audit (IQA) and as Quality Management Representative (QMR) to maintain compliance to requirements defined by the Product Board of Animal Feed (PDV) of Netherlands under a process control system known as Hazard Analysis of Critical Control Points (HACCP);
  • Maintains department records and submits all necessary reports and information as may be required by management;
  • Prepares, reviews and controls the annual budget of the section on the basis of the requirements and guidelines set by Finance and the Plant Management;
  • Trains/coaches personnel under his supervision to develop their potentials, ensures implementation of established company rules and regulations, appraises subordinate performance and recommends personnel development and advancement and imposition of appropriate disciplinary measures;
  • Observes safety and proper housekeeping in the work area; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Chemical Engineering/Chemistry/Food Technology graduate, with relevant license.
  • Male or Female, 25 - 35 years old.
  • Three (3) years or more work experience in Quality Control and Research & Development for an oil mill, refinery, shortening and/or solvent plant, or any similar industry.
  • Analytical and keen on details.
  • Well-versed in Research and Development Techniques.

Shift Analyst

Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes process and special samples brought to the laboratory based on established procedures;
  • Monitors the quality of the raw material (copra), process materials, and finished products (CNO, CEC);
  • Provides regular information on samples results to Shift Coordinator;
  • Visual inspection of every sample brought to the laboratory for quick action to correct the oil milling process in case of obvious abnormal observation;
  • Immediately informs Shift Coordinator any abnormal observation on the samples and log this in the Daily Laboratory Analysis Report;
  • Monitors direction of storage of new CNO produced as well as quality of CNO in each of the storage tanks for proper segregation;
  • Prepares and standardizes laboratory reagents and regularly calibrates laboratory measuring equipments;
  • Assists in the preparation of technical studies and reports, as instructed;
  • Prepares Shift Laboratory Analysis Report and ensures accuracy of data;
  • Recommends improvement in the work area;
  • Observes safety and proper housekeeping in the work area; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.

Blending Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Controls equipment to weigh and mix coconut/vegetable oils for products, such as salad oils, shortening, and margarine, according to formula;
  • Opens valves to pump oils from storage tanks to scale tank;
  • Weighs oils and pumps specified quantity of each oil into blending tank;
  • Draws off sample of mixed oil and examines it for texture and color;
  • Sends sample to laboratory for chemical analysis;
  • Turns valves to make adjustments to blending process according to results of tests;
  • Pumps mixed oil to storage tanks; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:

Extractor Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Tends solvent extraction equipment that extracts oil from copra;
  • Observes temperature and steam pressure gauges, flowmeters and ammeters, and turns valves or handwheels to regulate temperature and flow of material in equipment within specified limits;
  • Tests samples of material for conformity to plant standards, using scales, moisture meter, and hydrometer, or by titration;
  • Records indicator readings and test results;
  • May clean filter plates of extractor; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering graduate.
  • Male, 25 - 35 years old.

Boiler Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and operates the boiler efficiently, observed proper operating procedure and parameters to make the boiler running safe all the times with stable pressure at optimum fuel feeding and recommend innovation to improve further efficiency;
  • Operates and monitor internal and external water treatment operation. Make sure all operating procedures be followed all the times and prevent early failures of boiler components;
  • Proper maintenance of all controls and initiate repairs for safe boiler operation, assist maintenance during repairs, initiate cleaning, servicing and maintenance of boiler units. Maintain properly recorded boiler activities, performance and consumption;
  • Observed safety practices and good housekeeping all the times; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.

Filter Press Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and operates filter press efficiently, CNO outputs should be on quality before storage at tanks with passed through QC analysis; Any variation of results reported by QC should be corrected immediately and reported to shift coordinator; Recommends innovation to improve further efficiency;
  • Perform regular de-clogging, cleaning and repair of filter leaves as part of their regular working activities, make sure filter operation run smoothly without interruption and assist maintenance during repair activity of pumps, screening tank, filter press and compressor;
  • Maintain recording of activities, repairs and improvement done in filter press, initiate repair of breakdown pumps, filter leaves and screening;
  • Maintain safety practices and good housekeeping, ensuring work place safe all the times before and after the shift; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering graduate.

Expeller Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and operates expeller efficiently, expeller extraction should be on optimum results, and maintain maximum feeding, and recommend innovation to improve further efficiency;
  • Follows start up and shut down operating procedures; Endeavor from committing operational faults causing incidences unlikely to machineries and operation.
  • Assist machine troubleshooting, servicing and repairs on machineries resulted from operational faults. Maintain proper recording at log books of machinery status, running hours and fill up log sheets as required by management;
  • Maintain safety practices and good housekeeping, ensuring work place safe all the times before and after the shift; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering graduate.

Copra Preparation Operator - Male

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and operates copra preparation equipment (Copra feeding, HM, CM, FM & Cooker), copra feeding should be proportion to running expellers, running hammer mill, cracking mill and flaking mill; Discharged meals of equipment should be within standard sizes, cooker should be optimum load and cooking; Maintain proper blending of copra fed on operation; Recommends innovation to improve further efficiency;
  • Perform regular cleaning or de-clogging of CM & FM roller casing; Make sure running equipment or units are well monitored, efficient and regulate optimum feeding; Make sure all metals, twines and garbage are collected at picking belt.
  • Assist on equipment repairs, and conducts adjustments on machineries whenever necessary; Regular monitoring of equipment and conduct proper recording of machinery status, running hours, repairs, and adjustments.
  • Maintain safety practices and good housekeeping, ensuring work place safe all the times before and after the shift; and
  • Performs other duties as instructed by immediate superior.
Qualifications:
